Legacy and Vision

Established in 1980, T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, is one of India’s top private B-schools and one of the earliest institutes to achieve the “Double Crown” accreditation—AACSB and AMBA—marking its elite global presence. Founded by the visionary leader Shri Tonse Ananth Pai, TAPMI is dedicated to management education that fosters leadership, ethical practices, and innovation in global business environments.

The institute’s vision is to build professionally competent, socially responsible leaders through technology-enhanced learning and active industry collaboration. Moreover, the institute houses India’s largest Bloomberg-financed finance lab, providing hands-on exposure to stock market simulations and data analytics.

In alignment with its founding ideals, TAPMI combines research and education through industry-linked consulting assignments and thought-provoking research conferences.
