  • PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management):

  • PGDM (Healthcare Management):

  • PGDM (Banking, Insurance & Financial Services – BIFS):

Admission Process

Step 1: Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

  • Applicants may potentially be in their final year of graduation.

  • Work experience preferred but not mandatory.

Step 2: Entrance Tests

GIM accepts CAT, XAT, GMAT, and CMAT scores. International candidates apply via GMAT. Test scores are a key determinant of shortlisting.

Step 3: Online Application

Candidates must register online at GIM Admission Portal and select up to three program preferences. An application fee is charged depending on the number of selected programs (Early Bird discount applicable).

Step 4: Shortlisting

Based on profile (academic background, entrance exam percentile, diversity, and work experience). GIM’s “Achiever’s Round” invites top applicants from the first round for an early interview process.

Step 5: Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI)

Shortlisted candidates are evaluated on analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, and motivation to join. Components include a group discussion and individual interviews.

Step 6: Final Selection

The final selection is based on a composite score calculated from test percentile (50%), GE-PI performance (30%), academics (10%), and diversity factors (10%).

Step 7: Admission Offer & Enrollment

Selected candidates receive admission letters, confirm seats through initial deposit, and complete fees before joining orientation.
