Aditya School of Business Management (ASBM)

Introduction

ASBM Mumbai is committed to cultivating "Leaders of Tomorrow" through world-class management education that blends theoretical rigor with practical exposure. ASBM's vibrant campus, modern classrooms, digital labs, and collaborative learning environment support an active, multi-disciplinary student culture. The institute consistently emphasizes skill development, ethical values, entrepreneurship, professional growth, and social responsibility.

Curriculum and Innovation

The PGDM curriculum at ASBM is designed in close consultation with industry leaders, academic experts, and alumni. It is constantly refreshed to stay in sync with the changing demands of business and technology. In the first year, students acquire a solid foundation in management disciplines—accounting, finance, marketing, operations, organizational behavior, and economics—supported by training in data analytics, communication, and innovation.

The second year is dedicated to specialization, with dual major/minor tracks chosen from Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations, and IT. Elective courses cover subjects like FinTech, Digital Marketing, Advanced Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Law, and Strategic Management.

To drive innovation, every student works on practical projects, live case studies, capstone consulting assignments, and participates in industry visits and simulated boardroom exercises. ASBM's faculty are a blend of PhD scholars, IIM/IIT alumni, practicing managers, and visiting international professors, ensuring academic depth and diverse perspectives.

Student Development

True to its ethos, ASBM believes "Success doesn't come from what you know, but how you apply it." The Career Development Centre (CDC) drives employability and real-world readiness through resume workshops, mock interviews, corporate mentoring, and skill mapping. Soft skills, business etiquette, negotiation, ethics, leadership, and cross-cultural communication are integral to the PGDM experience.

Clubs and committees such as Marketing Club, Finance Forum, Entrepreneurship Cell, CSR Club, Cultural and Sports Activities, and the Analytics Club work hand-in-hand with academics to foster holistic development. Students routinely represent ASBM in national conferences, inter-college business competitions (e.g., Citibank, HUL, Deloitte Case Challenges), and TEDx-style leadership events.

Campus Life and Infrastructure

ASBM's Mumbai urban campus features air-conditioned smart classrooms, digital and physical libraries with 12,000+ business books, Bloomberg/Reuters databases, Wi-Fi connectivity, amphitheater, creative labs, trading simulation room, and state-of-the-art IT infrastructure. Students have affordable access to campus recreation, student lounges, sports facilities, and on-site food courts.

The school’s location in Mumbai—not far from the commercial hubs of Andheri and BKC—enables continuous industry touchpoints, including classroom visits from business leaders, access to live projects, and proximity to top employers for internships and placements.
