IIMB goes by the motto ‘Tejasvi nāvadhītamastu’, which is a Sanskrit declaration meaning; Let our study be enlightening. It offers multiple courses and degree-granting programmes including a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), MBA, executive programmes, etc.
About 1200 students enrolled in different degree-granting courses at IIMB, 108 full-time faculty members, and close to 5000 participants in executive education each year comprise IIMB. Their institute states that its goal is to become a globally recognised, prestigious academic institution that supports business, government, and society by promoting excellence in management, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

PGP is now rated 31st in the Financial Times ranking for 2022, making it one of the highest-ranked courses in the world. The PGP is intended to give students the knowledge and skills necessary to advance to responsible global management positions. The foundation of the PGP is the idea that exceptional business leaders are not mass-produced, but rather are raised and grown in an environment that is user-friendly, practical, and application-oriented.
Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics)
Duration: 2 years full time
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree
531 students are currently enrolled in this programme for the year 2023. The goal of the multidisciplinary Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics is to prepare students to address challenges in society and business. Through the curriculum, students will be able to define issues using analytical tools and methodologies to find patterns, obtain new perspectives, create business strategies, and aid in decision-making.
Executive Post Graduate Program (EPGP)
Duration: 1 year fulltime
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree
The EPGP is a rigorous, full-time, year-long residential course for seasoned professionals that aims to improve the competencies required for senior management positions and other responsible roles. The course is extensive, demanding, and focused on the world. This program's goal is to develop future leaders capable of navigating the fast-paced business world.
Post Graduate Program in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) - MBA
Duration: 2 years programme for working professionals
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree + Minimum 4 years of work experience after graduation
PGPEM is intended for working professionals at the intermediate and senior levels. In addition to learning from top-notch instructors, participants' networks are expanded through peer cooperation during the weekend sessions held on campus.
Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management
Duration: 40-week Modular and Hybrid Program

The redesigned PGPPM is a 40-week hybrid and modular PG Diploma curriculum given by IIMB to improve policymakers' and administrators' efficiency, leadership, and management abilities. Participants in the curriculum must also present a thorough policy paper that highlights the lessons they have learned and applies them to a sensitive policy topic. In modules 2 (8 weeks) and 4, participants stay on campus, whereas modules 1 and 3 take advantage of IIMB's powerful MOOC platforms. Ph.D.
Admission to PhD in various specializations at IIMB is conducted through GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE, JRF (NET), IIMB Test
Regular MBA/MBA(BA)
Over the years, IIMB has discovered that students who perform well in the academic program are usually those who have demonstrated a high level of aptitude as determined by the CAT (Common Admission Test of the IIMs)/GMAT, in addition to having a consistently good academic record throughout their school, high school, and graduation level. Thus, to determine whether applicants are qualified for the PGP course, IIMB considers several factors, including the candidates' CAT/GMAT results and their academic standing during their time in school, high school, and graduate programs. If there is any, relevant job experience is also taken into consideration.
EPGP (Executive MBA)
A valid GMAT or GRE score - The GMAT / GRE Score should be valid as of the date of application submission in each round. It is mandatory to submit an Official Scorecard/Test Taker copy (if the Official Scorecard is not yet received) along with the application. Online GMAT/GRE score (exam taken at home) is not applicable for EPGP 2024.
