Courses Offered

  1. PGDM (General Management):

    • Two-year, full-time, residential MBA-equivalent curriculum; 24+ core and 15+ elective courses, extensive industry engagement, live consulting, and mandatory summer internship (8–10 weeks). Put an emphasis on business analytics, leadership, and interdisciplinary electives.

  2. PGDM (Finance):

    • Covers corporate finance, investment, risk analysis, commercial banking, and fintech, with dual-specialization options for broad professional skills. Designed for careers in banking, IB, fintech, consulting, and analytics.

  3. PGDM (Marketing):

    • Specializes in digital marketing, brand management, market analytics, B2B/B2C, and rural/retail, with project-based and experiential learning, supported by reputed visiting faculty and guest industry workshops.

 

Admission Process

  1. A bachelor's degree with at least 50% overall is required for eligibility; final-year students may apply.

  2. Application: Online application form on the IMT common portal; application fee ₹3,500; upload all documents.

  3. Entrance Tests: Submit valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT scores.

  4. Shortlisting: IMT Nagpur evaluates scores, academics, work experience, and diversity factors for PI call.

  5. Selection Rounds: Shortlisted candidates must appear for a Written Communication Test (WCT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI), evaluating academic and extra-curricular achievements.

  6. Final List: Composite merit based on scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT: 35%), GD/PI/WCT: 45%, profile diversity/academic: 20%.

  7. Admission & Reporting: Final offer made; verification, fee submission, and induction in June-July.

No management or direct admissions; full transparency in process. Reserved merit-based TFW, need-based, and girls scholarships add further value.
