Admission Process

NMIMS Hyderabad pursues a multi-stage, thoroughly merit-driven, and highly transparent admissions procedure. Designed to bring out the academic, analytical, and leadership potential of each aspirant, it is known for striking the perfect balance between objectivity and holistic evaluation.

1. Eligibility and Application

  • Minimum eligibility for PGDM/MBA: Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (all streams accepted). Final-year students may apply pending results.

  • UG programs (BBA, B.Com): 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 60% marks. Math/statistics often preferred and mandatory for some programs.

  • Application submission:

    • Exclusive online portal at [admissions link]. Applicants register, fill out academic and profile data, select preferred program, upload certificates, and pay a non-refundable application fee (approx ₹2,800).

    • Early applications encouraged to maximize merit- and need-based scholarship eligibility, waivers, and preferred seat allocation.

2. Entrance Exam

  • Postgraduate:

    • NMAT by GMAC is compulsory. Registration window open August–November each year. Candidates can attempt up to 3 times, but only the first attempt is valid for NMIMS admission rounds.

    • CAT, XAT, and GMAT considered for select quotas and in special situations.

  • Undergraduate:

8. Document Verification and Commencement

  • Original/attested 10th, 12th, graduation certificates, reservation, work ex, and migration/character certificates are scanned and verified digitally or on-site.
